Paying
You get an invoice by email within 1 business day after the auction closes. It shows your winning bid plus the 10% buyer's premium, GRID Delivery and sales tax where it applies. Pay it by bank transfer (ACH or wire) within 7 business days. Cards are not accepted. GRID never changes its payment details by email, text or phone.
Example. You win at
$30,000. The premium is$3,000. GRID Delivery on this lot is$1,500. You pay$34,500plus any sales tax.
Seeing it in person
Some lots offer viewing by appointment at GRID in Los Angeles. The lot page shows the times and the rules.
GRID Delivery
Every robot ships with GRID Delivery. Its price is on the lot page and is fixed once bidding opens. The robot ships crated and insured for the full winning bid anywhere in the lower 48 states. GRID gives you a ship date once your payment clears. Pickup is not available.
If it arrives damaged
Check the crate before you sign. Note any damage on the delivery receipt and photograph it. Email g@gridauction.co within 2 business days after delivery. GRID files the insurance claim for you.
If it is not as described
Email g@gridauction.co within 2 business days after delivery with photos or video. Stop using the robot after the power on check. If GRID confirms the claim we offer a partial refund. If you decline we collect the robot at our cost and refund everything you paid. After 2 business days the sale is final.
